Geeeeetttt Seeeeettt Go…

My first date with blogging happened some 4-5 years back. It was one of my roommates who would do something on his laptop and then try to Google a specific name/keyword on my desktop. In response to my questions, he said he has found a way of expressing thoughts, a way of being a writer, a way of being famous and most important making money. The facts lured me like anything. My friend redirected me to WordPress.com to experience the facts though he never clarified what is blogging and how you do it. I got my account created there but didn't knew what to do now. So I simply thought of following my friend was writing. But he was writing more about his day to day life and I was not very excited by that idea.

I thought of doing something which is of course my life experience but not about how I traveled, or how I met my friend or what I had in dinner kind of stuff. The excitement of being a writer got me publish my first article. Like everybody, I had my own fears, worries, inhibitions about if I will be able to continue, what would be the reaction of others, will my friends laugh at me. And these factors ensured that I post my second article after quite sometime. But believe me, after that, It has been a smooth sailing. In fact, couple of my friends gave me compliments which keep me going now. The point I am trying to make is we all have many ideas, many thoughts, vision, dreams; but somehow something hold us back and the ideas never see the daylight, the thoughts never turn into reality, the dream never gets out of the couch.
Out of whole lot of things which stops us, one of the major issue is concern of continuity, fear of how things will shape up. Will it be the way I am hoping? Will it be the way I like? But I say let all these questions marks go to hell. Just push the start button and get on with the execution process. Get set go with ideas, thoughts and turn them into reality.
If I have to talk about my blogging experience, I have posted around 60 articles till date, have around 40+ in drafts and another 90+ concepts in my Blog page in Microsoft OneNote. If I consider 4 posts per month, I need 48 posts per year and I am sitting on a pile of 130 posts and this can keep me blogging for around 3 years. Some time back I was struggling to get my second article published and today I have enough stuff for years to come. What I trying to say is, just get on with the execution process of ideas, thoughts, dreams, aspiration whatever you call and things will start falling in place if you have the passion, patience to continue.
I believe all my thoughts related to this post can be summarised in a single quote from the book “The Alchemist” and is stated below…
“When you want something, the whole universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

Just believe in it and geeeeeeeeet seeeeeeeeeeeeeet go…
