I think the word ‘data science’ is used more widely for when data is applied to solve a business problem?—?for for e.g. analysis of marketing campaigns to figure out?—?what what worked and what didn’t. The word data science <> applying ML and AI. Those are a subset of methodologies in the entire spectrum.
