Survival of the Fittest

I have read a few of self-help books, a few autobiographies, a few spiritual books. I often go through blogs of Robin Sharma, Malcolm Gladwell and others. I feel there are so many books, so much of material available which try to help us realize our true potential, reach our goals, be successful in ones career, have a great relationship and the list goes on. Each book, each article, each seminar has atleast one advice which you feel is amazing and you should follow it. So if you pick up even a single advice from each book, the list of advices one needs will run into hundreds and thousands!!!
I thought what is that one rule, the root of all theories, the baap(father) of all advices, the gist of all the gyaan which all these stuff advocate and propagate.

The answer I found is a very simple. A very famous theory which everybody of us must have heard of. Its called the

"Survival of the Fittest"

The result of the theory proposed by Charles Darwin in the literature "On the Origin of Species".
I feel this is the root of all the rules, all the theories, all the self-help gyaan. This rule directly or indirectly, explicitly or implicitly defines what everybody of us does.
One works to earn money and thus be financially fit. One acquires a new skill to be professionally fit. One follows some a spiritual guru or a book to be spiritually fit. Some people go for pre-marrriage counselling to be fit for the next stage of life(Of being married). One hangs on to social networking to be socially fit. A building will crumble down if it is unfit to handle the situation at hand like fire, earthquake etc.

I mean whatever one does, the motto is to improve ones "Fitness Quotient".

"Think positive" is one of the very common piece of advice which we all come across very often. If you think a level deeper, this piece of advice tries to make you mentally fit to handle the "not so very good" situations of life.
Lets take another example, a bit complex and indirect. How about the thought of  "Thinking Big", "Having ambitions" and so many other similar ones. Piling of the layers apart, you could realize that If you think big, have ambitions, you will work hard, acquire a new skill, enhance your personality and do many more such things to achieve your goals, turn your dreams into reality. At the end, the result is that your "Fitness Quotient" has improved and you are more fit to survive in the competitive world, handle the dynamics of life, have a better lifestyle, have a positive impact on the lives of people around you.

Nature selects the fit, the best to carry forward the legacy and if you are not in its list. You know what happens...

Am using "SidsAvenue" to improve my fitness and I have finished my workout for today. Am going to relax now...
