A fun way to develop your product vision is to hold a MadLibs game. Stakeholders individually fill in the following sentence:
We help [type of customer] [achieve a benefit] by [what we do best]

After writing this out silently on Post-its or an index card, participants can compare their responses, discuss, and hopefully come to a common vision. A final vision might be something like this example from my book, Product Roadmaps Relaunched:
“We help perfect American lawns by perfecting water delivery.” What is your MadLibs?
