Hence this post is not proposing that programming is not a must-have skill for data scientists but instead, for all those roles which now need to apply data science to their workflow, programming is not a must-have skill?—?80%

I think the word ‘data science’ is used more widely for when data is applied to solve a business problem?—?for for e.g. analysis of marketing campaigns to figure out?—?what what worked and what didn’t. The word data science <> applying ML and AI. Those are a subset of methodologies in the entire spectrum.
