- Twitter is a micro-blogging and social networking service, on which users post and interact with messages known as “tweets”. The tweets are primarily famous for their short yet concise nature.
- Twitter is the third most used social media platform across the world with a market share of approximately 12% worldwide.
- Advertising and data licensing are the two main sources of revenue for Twitter.

Assumption: The users on the Twitter platform are not engaging more on the platform as compared to other social media platforms such as Instagram, Linkedin, etc.
