I’ve just got back from Sydney, Australia, where I spent 2 days of my annual leave recording new podcasts, totalling 9 new episodes that I’m excited to share later next month.

But first, here are two more of the seven 2019 Melbourne Series episodes:

The best way to get on top of the latest Product Coalition episodes is to subscribe:

Free Product Mentorship

If you’re from one of the world’s least developed nations, reach out for free Product Management mentorship in 2020

I founded The Product Coalition in 2014, to make mastery of product management globally accessible, for all.

Since then, with the community’s support and guidance, we’ve grown to nearly 500k readers on Medium, we have a Medium following of 17k and a global Slack community of over 5,000.

This has all been achieved without a dollar in funding.

When I look at the analytics, I continuously notice the traffic sourced matches the worlds most developed economies. I’ve decided I’d like to try to assist with that.

As a small experiment from January through to March 2020, in addition to the 500 volunteer hours a year I commit to running the publication, Slack community and podcast recordings, I’ll be committing a small chunk of my weekends to virtual mentorship.

To begin with, I’ve decided to offer my time as a mentor, without charge, to product management people who live in the United Nations list of least developed countries (LDCs).

Least developed countries (LDCs) are low-income countries confronting severe structural impediments to sustainable development. They are highly vulnerable to economic and environmental shocks and have low levels of human assets.

I’m unsure if this is the right list, or how I’ll ensure product people from these countries know that I’d like to help. Regardless, with my lean product mindset, I value a bias for action and experimentation, so today is the start.

If you’re reading the above, and you live in one of the nations listed, please reach out to me on the Product Coalition Slack community.

We are a crowdsourced publication and work with you to distribute your articles

I started the Product Coalition, as a way to help product passionate people bring their medium articles together into a common publication, in order to increase exposure.

This has been a passion project, that’s turned into a huge success, resulting in ProductCoalition.com being one of Medium’s most engaged and followed product-focused publications.
