Practical Ways to Implement the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction, like many other laws is a law of the universe.

The Law of Attraction (LOA) states that a person attracts situations that are aligned to his/her vibrations. This law is based on metaphysical concepts, but practically, it simply means the following:

  • What you like has an effect on whatever happens to you
  • What you think about has an effect on whatever happens to you

In short, it predominantly works on the emotions.

Time for Introspection

Do you like what’s happening to you? If not, examine the things that you are attached to. How are they influencing you? Decide right now whether or not to stick with them. The sooner you act upon negative influences, the faster you will recover from them.

Centering Your Desires

Aside from this, start liking the things that will bring you closer to your goals or desired experiences. Even if you don’t appreciate it right now, think about how you can benefit. Talk with other people to gain ideas. For example, if you hate cardio exercises, research its benefits and ask regular exercisers to know what motivates them.

Have A Productive Mindset

Examine your beliefs and revise them when necessary so they encourage positive action. Being optimistic is also helpful since optimism opens up one’s awareness to advantages and opportunities. In comparison, negative beliefs distort perception and even drain physical energy. Thus, the LOA says that you must release negative thoughts if you want to achieve positive things.

Focus

Focus is a prime ingredient in LOA. You must direct your attention to what you really want, since whatever you focus on will occupy your mind and direct your actions. Without this focus, your efforts may not be as productive as when you give your all to it.

This idea goes beyond a mere switch of perspective, because whatever you persistently concentrate on will become your reality. Numerous people who have used LOA techniques have reported miraculous changes in life because they stopped focusing on what they dislike and instead zeroed on to what they want instead.

You must be intellectually and emotionally be committed to your dreams. If you say that you want to achieve something but you don’t really dedicate your intellectual efforts toward it, you will never get to do it. This is why setting goals is important. Make a list of your important goals, create action steps to achieve them, and set deadlines so you will work on them for real.

Whenever you lose your motivation, take a look at your goal list again and rekindle your passion. It is likely that you may have to do this regularly, especially if you get side tracked by obstacles and distractions. Just keep this up regardless of whether you’re motivated or not; soon enough, your interest will return.

Surround Yourself with Inspiration

It is a long known fact that people who interact regularly influence each other. Habits, both good and bad, tend to get passed around in a group. Thus, if you want to acquire beneficial traits, hang around with successful people. It is also wise to distance yourself from bad influences, especially those that drain motivation and implant unhelpful ideas in your mind. After all, you must live your life for yourself and not for anybody else regardless of whether you see them as your friends.

These are just some of the things you can do to apply LOA principles through practical ways. More will come to you as you focus more intently on what you truly desire.

By practicing these and many more methods, which are aligned to this Law of Attraction, we start sowing the right seeds in our subconscious mind. Another Law says ‘What you sow is what you reap.’  By doing this we also start communicating to the universe in the language that it understands, and then it starts manifesting the best in our lives!
