Specific : Make the goal—a.k.a. productgoal —so detailed that you can tell what needs to be roughly done to achieve it and how long it is likely to take. Measurable : Describe the goal so that you can determine if it has been met. Alternatively, don’t show any temporal information and remove the row.
Instead, strategy and execution have to be closely connected: The former should not only guide execution, but execution should inform strategy changes and help adapt the strategy. Based on this insight, I have come up with the product strategy cycle shown in the picture below. I call these outcomes productgoals.
