Getting to, and staying in, Boston

BoS USA In-Person 2022

Not all of us are lucky enough to stay just around the corner from the conference venue so it’s a safe bet you are travelling from outside Boston and could benefit from some basic transport and accommodation tips.

Getting to Boston

✈️ Logan International Airport, recently completed a $4-billion major expansion and modernization. With nonstop international service from 56 destinations and nonstop USA services from 77 destinations, getting to Boston has never been easier.

Boston is also serviced by these regional airports:

  • Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (Manchester, NH)
  • T.F. Green Airport (Providence, RI)
  • Worcester Regional Airport (Worcester, MA)

🚆 Amtrak is a passenger rail service that connects Boston, New York, Washington,D.C., Philadelphia, Baltimore, Portland (ME) and other US points and trains arrive and depart from South Station (just a short walk from the Seaport Hotel). Traveling at speeds up to 150 miles per hour, each Amtrak train is fully equipped with power outlets, bistro cars, elegant first-class cars, wide seats, conference and meeting areas and other amenities. Everything you’d need for a luxury arrival to BoS Conf USA.

Getting to and from Logan Airport
There are many easy ways to go between the airport and the Seaport Hotel. If you don’t have a lot of baggage, use public transportation because, with the airport fees and tunnel tolls, your taxi ride will start at $10 before you even set foot in the car.
If the weather is good and you are looking for a fun and/or different experience, you can take the Water Taxi across the harbor. Boston Water Taxi has special services dedicated to making your arrival into Boston one to remember, and is the best way to beat the city’s notorious traffic and get an amazing view of the city skyline. A trip by water is only 10 minutes from Logan Airport to Pier 4 (next to the Seaport Hotel) making it the perfect way to get to and from the airport.

Boston is an extremely walkable city and has excellent public transportation. In fact, Boston’s subway (officially known as the MBTA or more simply just the “T”) was the first subway to operate in the United States. The Silver Line Bus goes from Logan Airport to the World Trade Center stop just behind the Seaport Hotel and costs about $3 each way.

Staying in Boston

Everyone who is anyone is staying at the Seaport Hotel to be on-site for the conference. Boston’s hotel room market is fierce with Boston having a booming tourist industry. If you are struggling to find a room, get in touch to see if we can help in any way.

Similarly, if you have booked more nights than you need and you’re considering amending your hotel stay at any hotels locally, please let us know before you contact your hotel as we may know someone looking to take the room off your hands for the night. You can hit us up by email or on the dedicated Slack channel.
