ONE THING on User Voting and Roadmaps

Many companies are turning to feedback tools like UserVoice to get a sense of customer needs. Anyone can propose and vote for a feature or other change for your roadmap.

These tools work best when you follow up to understand the needs behind the feature requests. Many ideas, in fact, may be attempts at solutions to the same problem. Reach out to your voters to understand what problem they are trying to solve and why it is important to them.

And make sure you are listening to your best customers, the ones that drive your growth and profitability. Make them deliriously happy and they will attract more like themselves.

Who is using tools like this? What do you love or hate about them? Tell me a story.
