This first-ever racing challenge, launched in late 2019, pitted student teams from universities around the world against each other in a multi-stage competition to program Dallara AV-21 racecars to race autonomously at a final fall 2021 event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The team accepted him as part of the team in June 2021.
