I moved out to the East Coast of the US to go to Harvard where I majored in applied math with a focus on decision systems and artificial intelligence before it was cool. And that was my first time in enterprise software – I’d spent some time in consumer software before that and did that for a few years.

Lenny Rachitsky (Growth PM, Airbnb) and Casey Winters (CPO, Eventbrite) launched a comprehensive benchmark report on retention recently. Forming a feedback loop right after the first purchase could lead to repeat purchases and more revenue.

Earlier this year, I joined Andreessen Horowitz as a General Partner, where I focus on a broad spectrum of consumer startups: marketplaces, entertainment/media, and social platforms. Importantly, these loops are flows within the product that are created on top of pre-existing, large platforms. Ideally they are loops.
