When I first started in Product Management, I was told that my job was to keep my stakeholders happy. My stakeholders were members of the sales team. I understand that many Product Managers are taught better today that stakeholders include customers and users, but I was taught the term was reserved for internal folks who had a say in our product. Customers and users were considered separately, and handled differently.

Building a prototype in one day

The morning of day 4 of our first design sprint at Tes felt daunting but the energy in the team was high. We had twelve screens drawn on the whiteboard, a team of 7 keen to get started and deadline to test with real users tomorrow. Our first task was agree tools and an approach. The sprint book suggests 90% of the time Keynote is a suitable tool. We were testing a website and our testers were remote via video chat software.
