As many of you know, I spent the better half of 2009 as an Entrepreneur -in- Residence at Trinity Ventures. It was one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had and would encourage anyone who gets the opportunity to do it. Working alongside Gus Tai , Ajay Chopra , Jim Tybur , Dan Scholnick , and the rest of the Trinity team provided an inside look into the world of venture capital.

I was travelling back from my home town and had just boarded the bus. There was a field next to the bus parking plot and I was observing a family of 4 members(Husband, Wife, a Daughter of around 8 years and another girl of around 6 years of age) putting their blood and sweat in the field. The lady was busy in spreading Manure on the field while the man was desperately trying to get the bore working to water the field.

I dont know who wrote this.I received it as a forwarded mail and felt its worth sharing. Two sons work for their father on the family's farm. The younger brother had for some years been given more responsibility and reward, and one day the older brother asks his father to explain why. The father says, "First, go to the Kelly's farm and see if they have any geese for sale - we need to add to our stock.
