If your team has to change what they do one month or six weeks into a quarter's estimation or commitment, the product feedback loop is too long. Product Feedback Loops are Different than Project Feedback Loops. I've focused this series on product feedback loops, not project feedback loops.

Seek expert help: If you lack the necessary research skills, consider outsourcing or consulting with experts who can make it on your behalf. Different people have contrasting interpretations of the visual and messaging guidelines. Also, two heads are better than one: your colleagues and external partners can provide valuable feedback.

Create a yearly budget as a guideline for our specific goals, but manage that budget every week and month to manage our risks. I gained two benefits: releasing a complete book, and taking the time off from the consulting book to decide what I wanted to say. I'm now able to finish the consulting book.
