Digital transformation is “the use of technology to radically improve performance or reach of enterprises”, according to an MIT and Capgemini whitepaper. Capgemini’s whitepaper states that “successful digital transformation does not happen bottom up. What is Digital Transformation? It must be driven from the top.”
You can probably find some customer documentation and help screens, release notes, product plans, sales and conference presentations, whitepapers and ebooks, and sales enablement tools. Learn the key capabilities, particularly those that are competitive differentiators. Review them all. Review the product roadmap.
(Remember Jason Cohen’s experience at Smart Bear when he felt he had to hire a veteran enterprise sales guy?).
