When I replay this scene in my head, I can hear the CTO very audibly yelling (slash pleading) with our product team. This didn’t sit well with the CTO because in reality he didn’t want a strategy, he wanted a plan. “What is your Product Strategy? YOU NEED A STRATEGY.” He was on edge. BUT we still had to test our ideas.
