I grew up in a rough area. Aggressive street dogs were the second biggest threat when I was a kid (the first were thugs, but I’ll talk about them another time). To scare them off, it is enough to grab a stone from the ground and pretend you are about to throw it at them. Any dog knows what a stone is and will back off and bark from a distance.
